About Daniela

The chef behind the table

Daniela is a Peruvian-born chef with more than fifteen years in professional kitchens and a genuine specialty that sets her apart: cooking, beautifully, for dietary needs. For over a decade she has built menus for guests navigating everything from celiac and SIBO to keto and paleo — proof that “restricted” and “delicious” belong on the same plate.

She learned to cook beside her grandmother Mara — the namesake of her catering company — before training formally at The Art Institute and Le Cordon Bleu. Her cooking leans into fine dining and bright, California-fresh plates, with the Peruvian classics she grew up on woven throughout: ceviche, tiradito, causa and lomo saltado.

Now relocating to Santa Monica, Daniela brings a calm, creative energy she calls “cooking with Aloha,” a habit she picked up over six years living in Hawai‘i. Expect thoughtful plating, genuine care for your table’s needs, and food that feels both indulgent and considered.
