We are not an agency or a restaurant. We are a small group of working chefs who believe the best meal of your year should happen at your own table.
Who we are
It started with a few nights off
Back in 2014, three line cooks from some of Los Angeles’s busiest kitchens started doing something on their evenings off: cooking intimate dinners in friends’ homes. No reservations, no two-hour waits — just great food, made to order, for people gathered around a table they already loved.
Those nights had a feeling restaurants struggle to bottle. So we kept going. One chef became a few. A few became a collective — each one chosen for their craft, their warmth, and a point of view worth travelling across the city for.
Today, LA Private Chef Collective is a hand-picked group of private chefs cooking everything from coastal Italian and prehispanic Mexican to Peruvian, Mediterranean and modern European — all over Los Angeles, all in your kitchen. We never mass-produce, we never cut corners, and we never stop sourcing local.

Cooked, not catered
Every dish is prepared fresh in your kitchen on the day — never trays reheated from a commissary. That is the whole point.

Our chefs live and shop in LA. They know which farmers’ market has the best tomatoes on a Wednesday and which fishmonger landed the right catch.
